Romance in the Vineyard

Chris and Vix were absolutely made for each other and had the most amazing wedding at the Three Choirs Vineyard near Wickham.

They had great weather which meant they could have the outside ceremony they'd dreamt of in the sunshine amongst the vines with their guests sitting on bales of hay.

They had Willow, an owl ring bearer from the amazing CSR Falconry, fly up the aisle to deliver the rings.

Willow has beautiful markings and is such a good natured bird...

...who delighted everyone.

They signed their Register in the beautifully decorated wooden gazebo at Three Choirs.

Then they walked down the hessian carpet aisle between bales of hay and their congratulating guests.

Vix had arrived earlier at Three Choirs in a vintage Rolls Royce...

...which is where they were presented with their drinks.

The Rolls was as sumptuous inside as it was elegant on the outside.

The bridesmaids and groomsmen looked fabulous...

...and there was a lot of laughter and playfulness.

Chris and Vix spent a little time amongst the vines...

...for some moments alone...

...before going inside for their cake cut, speeches and Wedding Breakfast.

Vix did go a little insane for a moment but super-cool Chris had the unspoken smiling demeanour of "Put the knife down Darling" and the rest of the day passed without violent incident.

There were many smiles...

...and selfies as the guests settled ready for the speeches.

Chris knocked it out of the park with his speech. It was really funny but also so romantic and from the heart.

When he sat down from his speech, the look from his new wife said it all.

After their Wedding Breakfast we took them around Three Choirs for some romantic portraits, like this one in the covered walk-way.

We were lucky to have a pleasant evening sky as a backdrop.

Vix was great fun posing with her car.

Her dress and veil were just awesome.

Then the Boys found the space-hoppers...

...and boys being boys...it turned into a race.

Then Chris started to organise a piggy-back race...

...which sadly he didn't win.

Then it was the girls' turn. They posed beautifully for the cameras...

...until Vix fell off.

Then it was a Bride and Groom Jenga-Off grudge match.

It was a very competitive few minutes. They both took winning very seriously but fortunately they were still great friends after the match.

They got a barrel from Three Choirs to take home with them and they got all their guests to write good wishes on it. A Guests' Barrel - so to speak.

It was also pretty cool as a prop for some group photographs.

Vix threw her bouquet...

...and one of her bridesmaids caught it!

There was lots of laughter when the winning bridesmaid saw her determined-self played back on video.

The First Dance was to a live band...

...and was one of the most romantic we can remember...

...and elegant...

...effortless...

...and wonderful to watch.

Chris and Vix's wedding had it all. What an amazing wedding and what a wonderful couple.

We wish them all the very best for their future life together.
