Cigars, Cars, Magic and Music at Rhinefield House

Carl and Alice had fantastic Spring wedding at Rhinefield House in the New Forest...

...even though it was raining when Alice arrived in her white Rolls-Royce. 

The Great Hall at Rhinefield was pact with guests for their ceremony... 

...but the rain had stopped in plenty of time for the photographs including bride and groom shots in front of their venue with their fabulous wedding car. 

By the afternoon the weather had brightened up nicely for photographs, canapés and a very competitive bride tossing of her bouquet. 

Then walked around the gorgeous Rhinefield grounds with them...

 ...for some romantic portraits of them amongst the trees

...and in the gazebo... 

 ...and in front of the Spring flowers.

Then it was inside for their meal and some stunning magic tricks... 

...which really took Alice's breath away.

After the meal there was time for a celebratory smoke of cigars for the boys. 

When it came to their First Dance...

 ...Carl and Alice were serenaded by one of their friends.

Rhinefield House is a fantastic venue, Carl and Alice are a gorgeous couple and their friends and family were awesome. The day had a fantastically bubbly and friendly vibe.

It was a wonderful day and we wish Carl and Alice a very long and happy life together.

Wedding Day Perfection at Rivervale Barn

Richard and Victoria had their wedding at the amazing Rivervale Barn with its fabulous interiors...

...and stunning gardens. But it also had the most fantastic bridal prep room with lovely decor...

 ...and plenty of space for all Victoria's bridesmaids to get ready...

...as well as providing a great backdrop for photographs of Victoria...

...and her bridesmaids.

The Rivervale courtyard was a magnificent route for the bridal procession to make their way to the ceremony... 

...until they noticed some late-arriving guests, and they all hid behind a convenient bush in accordance with ancient wedding traditions.

But after this tiniest of hitches the rest of the day went like clockwork, starting with bridesmaids lining up for their entrance into the ceremony...they looked absolutely fantastic, from head...

...to toes. 

 Victoria and her Dad then processed up the aisle to where Richard was waiting for her.

After the ceremony, we took photographs of Richard and Victoria around the fantastic grounds and gardens of Rivervale.

There were so many places to photograph touching moments...

 ...including this iconic red oriental bridge, and in Chinese weddings, red represents good luck. Perfect!

Later we did some photographs with them in the courtyard...

...which definitely had a southern European feel.

 But this gate was wonderfully English.

And then it was back into the barn for their First Dance as Man and Wife.

Rivervale Barn is a glorious venue both inside and out. Richard and Victoria and her bridesmaids all looked magnificent. The staff were wonderful and the guests were great. Add to this the fact that the weather was perfect...and it becomes difficult to imagine a wedding day more perfect for a lovely young couple to start their life together.

A "New Forest" Themed Wedding - in the New Forest

The New Forest has always been a very special place for both Joe and Lauren so when it came to their wedding day the New Forest had to figure highly in their photographs. Their wedding venue, the  Bartley Lodge Hotel, was right in the heart of the New Forest but it's wonderfully manicured grounds didn't portray the rustic look they wanted...

...so it was off down the country lanes, away from the patios, flower beds and lawns of their venue.

Joe and Lauren were awesome and we got some stunning shots of them...

...in amongst their New Forest...

 ...but it wasn't just about the Forest, there were really touching moments...

...and lots of fun 

...and the occasional much needed glass of coke!

After their meal they were blessed with a stunning New Forest evening sky, so it was back down the country lane for some more photographs of them in their beloved Forest...

 ...before going back inside for an amazing First Dance.

Joe and Lauren are an absolutely fabulous couple and it was so much fun to be with them. Their guests were awesome and the day went without a hitch.

But for us, what made the day extra special was their vision of having their wedding romantic portraits in amongst the Forest. It was a wonderfully creative idea and we loved every minute.

We wish them all our very best wishes for their life together.

A Castle, a Barn and Firemen - What's not to Like!

Claire and Ben were married at the church inside Portchester Castle and then went on to the stunning Tithe Barn, Petersfield for the Reception. It was perfect weather for them but despite all their detailed planning there was one thing that was to surprise them both - Ben's friends from the fire brigade and their fire engine was waiting for them when they came out of the church.

Portchester Castle is so big that the church in the corner looks quite small...until you get close...and it's proportions are huge and has a fantastic atmosphere...

...and is beautifully tended to.

Ben and Claire had a fantastic confetti line up as they left the church.

Then it was into their car (you can see the fire engine in the back window) and off to the Tithe Barn...

...where the weather was fantastic.

Lots of fun was had in the sunshine...

...and some tender moments.

Claire had the most amazing veil to set off her fabulous dress but it was a little breezy so in order to take this photo we enlisted the help of one of the Ushers...

...who took a while to get to grips with the task in hand.

Their speeches were great, full of laughter, touching moments and Ben's recollections of funny things Claire had done...and Claire's protestations of "What else was I supposed to do!"

...and of course there were some wonderfully embarrassing moments for Ben.

Then it was outside so the boys could be boys...

...and girls ;)

Their wedding party still had loads of energy so it was time to blow of steam.

As the perfect day turned into the perfect evening, Claire and Ben were blessed with a gorgeous evening sky.

The boys tested out their specially engraved beer glasses....

...before it was time to go back inside the magnificent Tithe Barn...

...for the First Dance...

....and of course a dance with Dad.

Then it was time for the main event of the day - TIGER FEET by MUD (if you don't know what I'm talking about, ask somebody "of a certain age"). Some songs never get old!

Claire and Ben made a wonderful bride and groom and they loved every minute of their meticulously planned wedding. The venues were amazing, the guests were fantastic and the weather was perfect. 

We wish them both the very best for their future together ... and if it is anything like their wedding day it will be perfect.
